Discovering an unexpected charge on your account can be alarming, whether it was an accidental tap by a child or a genuinely unauthorized transaction. In Solitaire Castle Royal, all in-app purchases are processed entirely by your device's payment platform โ Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or PayPal โ and we do not handle payment disputes directly.
The good news: every major platform has a clear resolution process for unauthorized or accidental purchases. Here's what to do right away.
How to Dispute an Unauthorized or Accidental Purchase
Because payments are processed by the platform (Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or PayPal), you will need to contact them directly through their resolution center. Each platform has a dedicated process for disputing transactions and, where eligible, issuing refunds.
- Google Play Support: Visit the Google Play Help Center at support.google.com/googleplay to request a refund or report an unauthorized purchase.
- Apple Support: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for App Store purchases.
- Amazon Support: Visit the Amazon Help Center at amazon.com/help for assistance with unauthorized Appstore charges.
- PayPal Support: Log in to your PayPal account and open the Resolution Center to dispute a transaction.
How to Prevent Unauthorized Purchases in the Future
To protect your account and prevent accidental or unauthorized in-app purchases going forward, we strongly recommend enabling purchase restrictions on your device:
- Android / Google Play: Enable purchase authentication in Google Play Settings โ Require authentication for purchases.
- iPhone / iPad (Apple): Go to Settings โ Screen Time โ Content & Privacy Restrictions โ iTunes & App Store Purchases, and set to "Don't Allow" or require a password.
- Amazon: Enable Parental Controls in the Amazon Parent Dashboard at parents.amazon.com.
- All devices: Consider enabling a PIN or biometric lock on your device to prevent unauthorized access.
